Meet the Innkeepers
Hi!..We’re your hosts Michael and Lori Freeman. We became the proud Innkeepers of the Hide-Away Inn & Dining on August 1, 1999.Although new to innkeeping when we arrived, we were not new to New England. Michael was born and raised in Massachusetts. After college he took an engineering position in Arizona where we met and were married. Innkeeping had been a longtime aspiration of Lori’s. And after enjoying family vacations in New England we decided that we never wanted to leave. Taking over the Hide-Away Inn was not only a dream come true but also our excuse to stay in this magnificent area.
After 7 wonderful years of meeting fascinating people from all over the world we decided to return the inn to its orginal use as a private residence. Being innkeepers at heart we couldn't completely turn away from entertaining guests. Pike's Cottage has now been renovated and is giving us the pleasure of seeing the return of familiar faces and making new friends.
